Sanofi, Cambridge, MA

Head of Digital Translational Medicine, December 2018 – June 2021

Head of APIs and Data Cataloging, Nov 2017 – Dec 2018

  •  Created an Integrated Analytics Workbench: moving Sanofi's R&D IT capabilities to the cloud with a focus on data management, ontologies, F.A.I.R. principles, high performance computing, scientific computing and enabling data scientists.

  • Facilitated precision medicine by enabling scientists to find more reliable targets by aggregating all the available internal and external data. We were active members of the OpenTargets public-private partnership, and we were actively working with the consortia to improve the data and the customization of the OpenTargets UI.

  • Enabled our R&D colleagues by providing IT services dedicated to Single Cell Sequencing. From bespoke applications to ontology management and evaluation of commercial and open source tools, we made these rapidly evolving techniques accessible to a wide range of scientists.

  • Worked collaboratively with our Data Sciences team, enabling the data management that enables the AI/ML/DL/NLP and other aspects of advanced and applied statistics.

  • As part of the Chief Data Office, I led a team building Enterprise Information Management solutions at Sanofi.

  • Led API implementations, data governance and data management and we developed a Data Catalog to make Sanofi's data assets Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (FAIR).
